This London Climate Action Week, join Ashden and Southwark Council to see how the authority and its partners are bringing residents lower energy bills, active travel infrastructure and access to green space.
Time and date: 29 June, 10 to 11.30am
Meet: 9:45am in Nursery Row Park
The tour will begin with a short introduction outlining the council’s climate strategy and priorities, and will take in three sites:
- Nursery Row Park
- Liverpool Grove
- Newington Estate
At each stop on the tour you will hear more about the projects, their environmental impact and how local communities have benefited.
This is a small, invite-only event, and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, discuss the projects and network with your fellow attendees. You will be joined by policymakers, funders and experts in the built environment.
