Ashden has launched its 2022 Award for natural climate solutions. The award seeks ground-breaking initiatives helping indigenous rainforest communities earn a decent and sustainable living. Higher, more reliable incomes empower people to protect themselves and their forests – which are a vital defence against climate change.
This award will shine a light on some of the most important work happening in this area, helping attract the attention of funders and promoting the replication of highly successful initiatives. It is supported by the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Ashden Award winners receive publicity, connection to funders and policymakers, and a cash grant.
