Ashden’s next London Local Authority Learning Hub will address how councils can design and implement nature-based solutions to boost community engagement on climate change and adaptation.
This session will take place in-person on Tuesday 19th September from 1-4pm at the head office of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (N1 6PB). Lunch will be provided from 1pm and the session will commence at1.30pm.
We’ll be joined by some excellent speakers that include:
- Jamie Kukadia, London Borough of Enfield Council – working with local residents to restore rivers, wetlands and woods
- Juliet Staples, Liverpool City Council – designing and delivering urban green to boost adaptation
- Bryony Carter– empowering local communities to restore nature through the Nextdoor Nature programme
