Regenerative agriculture is a powerful tool for people and planet – sustaining and regenerating soil, water supplies and biodiversity, while helping marginalised farmers earn a better living. But lack of finance and knowledge can make switching from ‘conventional’ farming to new methods a Herculean task.

Join Ashden and a panel of expert practitioners as we explore the benefits and challenges for smallholder farmers of adopting regenerative techniques, and ask how funders and policymakers can support the growth of regenerative agriculture.

Our webinar will showcase outstanding grassroot led innovation such as the work of YICE Uganda, winners of the 2021 Ashden Award for Regenerative Agriculture, supported by the DOEN Foundation. The organisation is helping local people – particularly women and refugees – raise their income by at least 30%.
