The fifth in a series of Zero Carbon Britain-themed interactive webinars organised by Ashden and the Centre for Alternative Technology. These feature speakers with practical experience of implementing projects at local council/community level with proven potential for widespread roll out; supporting the economic recovery from COVID-19, getting us closer to net zero and increasing our resilience as a society.
This webinar is focussing on food, featuring Jon Ross, Director of Sow the City sharing his experience of empowering communities to grow and live sustainably, alongside Nick Weir of Stroudco and the Open Food Network sharing his experience of building networked resilient local food systems (explainer video here).
The format of these webinars allows you not only to hear and ask about how challenges have been overcome, the potential for job creation and co-benefits, but to interact with other participants to consider what needs to happen to replicate these projects elsewhere.
